No matter how ugly this game/series gets (and I'm not saying that because I'm freaking out down 1-0, this is just a general observation) i'll be able to watch because I could listen to vin scully talk about anything.

What I don't understand is why we didn't just decide to call up Maldonado instead of Conrad after we knew Kottaras was hurt. It would've been some protection for a few days, and then a move could've been made after that. It looks especially bad now that Lucroy got hurt too.

Adam McCalvy says that Conrad and Green could be emergency catchers. Part of me (just part) wishes they'd put one of them in behind the plate, just so George's hamstring doesn't get worse.

If it weren't for injuries, I'd love to see more teams play around with ridiculous defensive configurations. Hart at SS? Why not? Put Axford at catcher, Braun at pitcher, and watch the hilarity ensue.
