Aoki needs to be a full time player, but I don't see how these Japanese players can hit while they seem to be bailing out of the box as they swing...

Might as well keep Hart at 1B from here on out and start Aoki in RF daily. Let Morgan and Gomez platoon CF.

Here we go, bringing up the "who was the NL MVP" talk again? The DBack station just put up a poll, and they're talking about how Kemp was clearly the MVP.

Kemp had 6 more HR, 12 more RBI, a couple more runs, and 7 more SB. He also played 10 more games, and his team finished barely above .500.

Braun had a higher average, a higher OPS, the same OBP, more extra base hits, better isolated power, better AVG with RISP, a better stolen base percentage, a better fielding percentage, and Kemp struck out 67 more times.

Oh ya, and he did that during a pennant race.

Braun was clearly the better player. Kemp's team was out of the race two months into the season. He swung for the fences the second half of the season trying to pad his stats, and struck out 159 times in doing so.

Braun has hit a mini slump. 2 for his last 15. Average down from .333 to .315.

I can't stand listening to RR talk.

I wanted to give him a break this season, but he sucks as a manager, plain and simple, he sucks.

We get what your opinion is on him. We get it

You're killing me by quoting turborickey because I blocked all his posts ages ago. He literally does nothing but complain about the manager.

If RR is going to trot out and argue, he might as well make it worth his effort. That was a lame disagreement right there...

I guess that would be your option.

Well, no retaliation hit batter seems to support the consensus, that the hit of Upton wasn't intentional.

1. He was out.

2. Don't we have young kids better than McClendon (and Dillard)? Why can't those guys come up?

It was really close. Man, I just don't know if I could have made that call if I were the ump. Tie goes to the runner, doesn't it?

It seems that most plays like that one usually goes to the defense...

I will try and refrain from publically showing my displeasure for our manager in the future...

It's just so frustrating.

I cannot believe that someone gets that annoyed over a manager, especially some of the trivial stuff like the manager "looking like he doesn't care" while he watches the game.

If it makes you feel better.. keep venting, but I don't think RR is going anywhere for quite some time. Watch other teams - managers make questionable moves every day. Question the personnel on the team if anything, in my opinion.

Edit - I don't mean the players themselves, but why certain players are on the team. The manager can only play the guys on the 25 man... just sayin..

I'm not usually one for beanball wars; but man plunking Upton again with Mcclendon here would just be downright humorous.

I'd have laughed. :laughing

Oh, come on, two pitches in a row he should have been out.
