Does Izturis seemingly make an out on the first pitch all the time or only about 80% of the ABs I follow on GameDay?

Way to go, Taylor Green, for actually getting a hit!

Well, since this has been a late game already, I'll sum up what Roenicke's press conference will be:

- Wolfie pitched great.

- Liked the matchups with Perez.

- Didn't want to use "Kam" as he had pitched the two previous days.

- Feels like they are ready to bust out, just need to focus on getting back to .500 and then go on a run.

"He jumped out of the batters box like he just saw a snake"

Sounded like a classic exaggeration until I saw the replay. Not sure I've ever seen a "batter" bail on a strike like that ever.

It's tough making the transition from T-ball.

I shut it off after the 11th. I knew where it was going to end. It's sad really. You have to win today because you know there is no chance that we win Wednesday with a poor man's Dave Bush throwing. Plus, with Braun probably out one if not two days with a sore groin, who else is going to get hits. Rickie fought one off for a hit to right, otherwise he looked pathetic. You have to hope that ARam, Hart and Lucroy pick them up tonight.

It's really getting hard watching this team play. I am going to take a new approach. I am going to try NOT to watch tonight and see how that goes.

wow i guess we have to wait to Grienke pitches next to have a shot. This team just can't carry any Momentum at all. Well Perez also has done nothing to warrant a stay up here and it time to play again as the reliever turns with the nashville club.

Disagree. This was his best day at the plate in about a month (that's pretty sad, but true). His balance was much better. He actually hit two balls on a line. His timing was just slightly off in his last at-bat where he hit a sky ball to 3rd. Very close to killing that pitch. His 4th ab against Romo was absolutely pathetic though. But I'm use to Weeks having 3 or 4 of those ab's every night. Baby steps.

Romo makes all RHB's look pathetic. Hard to fault Weeks for that one.

Here's my counter on the Romo comment. Don't you know that coming in? The guy is all off-speed basically. Heck Gomez basically fell down. Although Weeks might have been a tad more balanced, he was still falling across the plate. I didn't see that much improvement last night. I am all for letting him work through it as long as there aren't any better options out there. But I think we got a couple guys hitting over .160 don't we? At least 1? An out is still an out. The flyball to center was great. The groundballs not so much. I just want to see him rip one to the RC gap once.
