Jose Altuve is so excited about this two-game series that he let everyone know the moment the Brewers arrived in Houston.

that morgan/ weeks combination at the top of the order is deadly. Seriously though, is this going to last all season like mcgehee?

What the hell kind of catch was that Hart??? He was there in plenty of time of just over-ran it. Yeah it's not a routine play but that looked just awful.

Weird thing about this start was that up until the ball Lowrie hit that Hart botched (and maybe the ball that bounced off the Crawford Boxes that Braun terribly misjudged), Wolf wasn't even getting hit that hard. Just singles and 16-hoppers up the middle. Frustrating start to the game.

At least Norris is a guy they've hit before, even if it typically takes until the 5th inning for him to wear down.

Stupidly, I felt good about their chances after yesterday.

This year they've failed to carry any momentum from one game to the next. Of course when the top 2 hitters in your lineup are both hitting as bad as Morgan and Weeks, that's never good.

altuve hit it pretty hard as well, but i was going to make a similar post to this. Norris reached on a play rickie could have made. Lee's 4-hopper was a few inches away from being a double play. Lowrie hit the ball hard but Corey should have caught it. Wolf hasn't pitched well this year, but that was a tough inning.

i guess corey earned that run back. so theres that

I was begging that the Brewers would attempt to trade Wolf after his fluke of a 2011 and utilize that money better elsewhere. No such luck.

Not much you can say except "Well, at least he wasn't as bad as Suppan".
