2012-05-11 Cubs (Garza) at Brewers (Wolf), 7:10 PM CDT [Brewers win, 8-7, 13 innings]

Considering that the middle of the order is coming up and the Cubs' awful bullpen, the Brewers probably have about a 50/50 shot at winning this game.

Edit: Make that about a 25% chance...

Wow, Josh Hamilton with two more home runs tonight. .410 AVG, 17 HR and 40 RBI in 31 games. .462 OBP and a .840 SLG. That's a 1.342 OPS. That's insane.

What I would give to have him in Milwaukee.

Other teams get the hits. We never get the hits. Yes, I know that's not true that we NEVER get the hits. But, jeez, we never get the hits. They always get the hits. I'm losing it. I've lost it. Goodnight.

Edit: Oh, cool, Dillard.

You may run like Mays...

This is all on you, Ramirez ... You defensive bum. You don't belong here. Go back to Chicago, or somewhere else where losers play. Elderly, expensive crapmaster. Thanks aton.

Well, I was wrong, but I knew he wasn't hitting it hard anywhere.

At this point I'm more interested in what happens in the aggregate over the next few weeks than any specific game. I just want to see if this team is going to have enough fight to keep this from becoming a completely unsalvageable disaster.

I've been trying to pay attention to this team with one eye closed so far this season and a hand over the other but man things look desperate. If the bullpen doesn't get right quickly, start dealing and start the vent thread up.

Ramirez with a nice play on that one, and an adequate throw. Al would call that a hit, not an error. And with Fielder at 1st the throw would have gone in the dugout. I blame the inning more on Lucroy's inability to block pitches and keep them close IN that inning. Throw in a bunch of nickle-and-dimed hits, and a typical Cubs-Brewers finish.

How to stop the Brewers offense: walk Braun, walk the catcher...disco.

To come back from down 4-1 and take the lead back... only to see the bullpen blow it again. I'm angry beyond words.
