Like the Aoki start, but hate that Rickie is still playing and still batting lead-off. He is due for a day off and a change of pace in the line-up. I would love to see Aoki lead-off with Luc batting 2nd. Imagine what Lucroy would do batting in front of Braun instead of the pitcher.

Here is to the Brewers staying hot and Marcum going deep in this one.

Rickie probably could use a day off but will get one on Thursday. It'd be easier to give him a day off if Izturis wasn't our only other option at 2B!

That said, wouldn't be surprised if Izturis gets a start somewhere tomorrow which would give someone (Ramirez, Gonzales or Weeks) 2 days off in a row

I'm probably in the minority, but if Weeks says he's healthy I would start him and let him work through his problems. He's still getting on base at a .320 clip, which is pretty good for someone in a slump. One day off isn't the end of the world, but he's an established major leaguer who has been streaky in the past.

That looks like a 60 game DL type injury for Gamel, sure hope it isn't as bad as it looked. If he is down long term at all do we call Derrek Lee?

He is walking so not as bad as it looked.

Green better learn to play 1st. I want no part of Ishikawa as a long-term starter.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.
