2012-04-11 Brewers (Gallardo) at Cubs (Dempster), 1:20 PM CDT [Brewers win, 2-1]

Anyone else starting to like Aoki as starting CF. I just like the guys approach at the plate. I personally like him over Morgan. Aoki is only going to get better the more he plays.

it's only one game (and some other ABs sprinkled in), so it's a little soon to go that far.

That said, I've really enjoyed watching him play today. 1-2 with a BB and 24 pitches in 3 AB. Definitely do not mind him in the lineup, but not ready to say he should jump to the top of the CF list. one game.

Two early? He did it all spring and for how many years in Japan. There is a reason he was batting champ in Japan, and it appears he isn't struggling much to adjust to big league pitching.

Um, yes, too early. He's made 6 plate appearances against big league pitching. They have been 6 very nice plate appearances, but I don't think that it's enough to say he should be starting over a guy with an OPS of .780 last season.

But it is good to know we have that option if Morgan regresses this year or enters a prolonged slump, which is possible. but 6 PA is not >>> a whole season

edit: george kottaras is a greek god. ******* my mlb.tv feed is slow.
