Would the Brewers trade KRod?

The Red Sox have stated that they're willing to spend money, even above the luxury tax, to improve their pitching. They were rumored to have been looking into Oswalt, only to be discouraged by "an unnamed NL executive," so they are probably looking to find a starter and possibly move Bard back to the pen, but if they can't find a fit, K-Rod could be a possibility.

However, Melvin & co have to be looking at Bailey, Storen, Madsen, etc and thinking "Boy, aren't we lucky that if Axford gets hurt we have K-Rod to fall back on." Therefore, I doubt K-Rod gets traded unless we fall out of the playoff picture.

"The most successful (people) know that performance over the long haul is what counts. If you can seize the day, great. But never forget that there are days yet to come."

Red Sox are only 2 for 5 in save opportunities, with a record of 4-10 and last in the division. Unless mgmt allows Valentine to twist in the wind, they could look to make a major move.

I just don't see the Brewers moving KRod, especially with Estrada in the rotation.

There aren't going to be any major moves made in April. Everybody is still in it. There will be garbage for garbage deals like Byrd for Bowden, but not any trades of importance.

If the Red Sox decided to panic, they would probably just move Bard permanently back to the bullpen after the rain out last night.

Do you think they look at how KRod has been pitching and think "Wow that guy is going to fix our bullpen." I cringe every time KRod comes into the game
