Yeah, I felt bad letting some of these nice weekends go by without getting at least one practice in. I feel like I've been slacking this year to get a social gathering set up and get some practices going, but I guess it's just the odd arrival of summer here in March that's throwing things off. It looks like last year we didn't do our social gathering until April 22nd, and might not have had our first practice until April 30th.

 

This upcoming weekend would work for me if anyone else is interested. Extended forecast is talking high 50s, so not as wonderful as the last 10 days, but still above normal and probably practice-worthy. I could do afternoon either day.

 

By the way, Manager's Meeting tomorrow, so I should have more information about our season tomorrow (like schedule, etc).

Sunday forecast is mid 70s? Looks quite a bit better than saturday, so I say we target that afternoon if we get enough people. Minimum five commits?

How about 2:00 PM on Sunday? What's a location that's good for everyone? Lafollette park (92nd & Washington in West Allis) seemed to work well in the past ... I no longer live over there, but it's a good, central location in the metro area.

In other news, it's 1:00 and it's about 45 degrees outside. Weathermen can suck it, what a pathetic bit of forecasting to whiff so bad on today's weather.
