I found a 10:54 clip of Hooked On Classics on YouTube. Somehow I got through 7 minutes of it. No offense, pitchleague (unless you were being sarcastic above), but I thought that was weird even when I was a kid and it was newly released. And I was an extremely uncool kid.

yeah, kind of hard to make a graphic look sarcastic. I guess I could have used photoshop or something and gave the picture a blue-tint.

Honestly, though, I have 2 of those Hooked on Classics albums on CD someplace. I would imagine that if you had to work out but you were required to listen to classical music (or baroque or romantic or whatever 'era' that is dumbed down to 'classical' music) that I would probably pick one of those albums. They at least have a beat to move to while running or exercising.

I swear there was a great thread about this from 2011, where the thread's OP was asking people to help find the best songs that build up gradually & then explode.

I'm posting this in the hopes that someone else will remember specifically enough to actually search the OT forum & find said thread :)

EDIT: Hahaha... I just assumed searching "songs build up" wouldn't yield any results. Fortunately, the thread was conveniently titled, "Best songs that build up"
