Thanks for the info BHF. So I had something weird happen today. A few weeks ago I sent cards to get signed with SASE's to Jenkins and Weeks. And today I got the Jenks back in my SASE. With no autograph on it? I figured if they didn't sign they wouldn't sent it back I just find it weird that he didn't sign it? This ever happen to anyone else?

Are the Wisconsin Woodchucks a minor league team?

They are summer team for college players looking to play and keep their skill up during the off season. They use wood bats and do not get paid. The Madison Mallards play in the same league as the Woodchucks. Eau Claire, Lacrosse, and Green Bay is starting a team this year as well.

Here are some pics I took tonight at Gatners Signing at the Menards in Beaver Dam tonight. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

It is a nice Huge store and the line for Gantner was a little bit longer than I expected but for a free signing I am not complaining the hour wait was well worth it. The line got much longer as I waited and I saw more people coming in as I was leaving

Got to Menards from Madison just around 6PM and got in my car again at 7:10PM I noticed alot of people had bobbles most though where like what I have the small '82 from last Fridays game.

The kid infront of me was holding his dads full size bobble by the head the whole time waiting in line http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eek.gif e

Gantner was really niced and asked if I wento the game last Friday and I said yes since I havn't missed one yet. I also got jim to sign two of the free signing posters they had and he didn't mind.

The guy helping Gantner figure out how many people are left in line ( he is the one leaning in to talk to Gantner in the first pic) went down the line after my signing and told everyone only 2 items per person http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif I feel lucky to be last to get 4 things signed by myself http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Here are the pics.

Jim Gantner was the first autograph I ever received through the mail. As seven year old in the summer of 1979, I sent his card to "Mr. Jim Gantner, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee, WI". In a week, I got it back. With that exact same signature as he signed last night. His signature is so consistent it's nearly mechanical. Plus it would make a third grade teacher proud!

I also sent a card to Amos Otis that same day. I received it back, signed, a week before graduating high school in 1990.
