autographs, signings, and tips, part 1

The things thats really bothers me is their a simpler solution to this. Instead, of having a mad rush, why not set up the lines for different players at different entrances throughout the stadium, so when people enter the stadium at 5:00 all they have to do is be led their autograph section by an usher. For instance, make Prince's line the home plate entrance, Ned's in left, and Carlos Villaneuva in right, and so on and so on. I emailed Tyler Barnes this idea for fanfest which was even more crazy and I didn't even get a response!

That Hart signing for free sounds great, except Im going to IL that day to see the Projekt Revolution tour and Ialready bought my ticket for the Hart signing at Jeffs for the 18th.

When I went into Jeffs Saturday to buy my ticket they guy I talked to said that they are still in a contract with Gwynn and are trying to get Braun. They through a few dates out at Ryan and none have worked for him yet, but they still hope to get him before the season ends.

$35 aint to bad. I was think between $40-$50. I will pay $35. It will be worth way more then that with the way hes playing anyway. That will be a deal in the long run.
No it's not bad at all. I think he also wanted Prince type money for when Prince signed last year, but Jeff's said no. He also said they were trying to get Bill Hall in for another signing, but I guess Hall wants to do a private signing.

Thank you for this information! Although I am still going to go to get Hart's autograph at Jeff's, I could go for another one. The guy is amazing!

Just a heads up, there will be autograph signings at Miller Park before the game on August 14th. Yount, Molitor, Sutton, Money and many other '82 players will be signing for 45 minutes when the gates open. Unfortunately, I will be working but I might have to call in sick or switch hours. Here is the complete list of all the players and their locations:

Also, Brian Shouse will be signing August 17 at Piggly Wiggly in Racine from 11 AM- 12 PM

Do you guys thinks if I'm in line by noon I'll be able to get Yount? I remember fanfest two years ago for him and it was crazy!

That was only for Uecker and Yount though. There's a bunch of different players at this thing. I'd say if you got in line at noon at the closest entrance you'd be fine.

http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smile.gifABOUT 20 YEARS AGO, MY PARENTS THREW OUT THE "FIRST BALL" AT CHILTON NIGHT AT THE BREWERS GAME, THE BALL WAS SIGNED BY HARVEY KUEHN AND BILL SHROEDER. JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY I TOOK IT TO A COLLECTORS SHOW AND ASK AN"EXPERT" HOW MUCH IT WOULD BRING. HE TOLD ME THAT IT'S NOT WORTH A THING BECAUSE THE TWO GUYS ON THE BALL ARE NOBODY'S, HE SAID ALL HARVEY KUEHN DID WAS MANAGE THE BREWERS.....I WALKED AWAY LAUGHING, I TOLD MY WIFE, THAT GUY DON'T KNOW CRAP, DON'T ALL US SPORTS GEEKS KNOW THAT HARVEY HELD THE BATTING TITLE IN 1962 FOR DETRIOT..... GET MORE FEEDBACK ON YOUR COLLECTABLES ASK MORE THAN ONE PERSON. I DID THIS FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES. NOW THE BALL SITS ON MY MANTLE IN A BALL CASE WITH HARVEY'S ROOKIE CARD......

I just got a couple of questions about Tuesday's game with the '82 team signings.

Me and my friend are getting to MP around 12 and I was thinking about waiting at the right field entrance since both me and my friend want Yount. According to the brewers site he is going to be at the concourse first base side.

Is this a good time and the right doors to wait at to get Yount?

Where exactly is the first base concourse is that by the food concessions or by the kids games?

I know 45 minutes is a really short amount of time but say you are one of the first few in line is there any chance to get any other players?

This maybe a stupid question but is vuckovich still alive I don't see him on the list?

Thanks ~ Zach

I would guess the Kuenn/Schroeder ball is probably a $75 item or so. That's if Kuenn is on the sweet spot and Schroeder on another panel, which wouldn't be too visible when displayed.

Those two guys on a ball really don't have any significance other than to you.

It would be different if it were Kuenn and Rocky Colavito, or Kuenn and Al Kaline, or Kuenn and Harry Dalton.

Unfortunately, Bill Schroeder does detract from the value of the ball.

i was in the prince line and barley got him, got there at 530, absolutly ridiculous, I am never going for Fielder's autograph again, and if things continue to get that bad, they will have to stop autograph friday's, bandwagoner's ruin it for everyone.

People who get in line at 5:30 and butt ahead of people who have been waiting since 3:30 are the ones who will ruin autograph Fridays for everyone.
