autographs, signings, and tips, part 1

jason21nl

I went a couple sundays ago early and got 1 autograph. It was horrible.

I no longer have those pictures but its really easy. Just take a dry erase marker and draw on the part you don't want there anymore. and wipe it off with a kleenex. it its a glossy picture it works easy, If its one that you printed off yourself I wouldn't do it. It will take the ink from the printer off.

Devin Harris Autograph Signing-

The former UW-Madison basketball star will be at the Pick n' Save at 12735 W. Capitol Dr. from 10 to 11 a.m. Sunday, July 8. Fans may bring one item for Harris, who now plays for the Dallas Mavericks, to sign.

While you're there, you can check out the roof repair job. This is the store where the roof collapsed during a snowstorm last winter.

Harris also will be at the Copps store on ShopKo Dr. in Madison Sunday, from 2 to 3 p.m.

Get there early and be prepared to stay all day . Coaches roll in anywhere from 7am (Yost & Sveum) to noon. Players will start coming in around noon as well. Most, if not all, players and coaches will be in the park by 3pm. Once you get there there are plenty of regulars to help you out. Follow their lead. If you get there by 11am or so you should get a nice haul.

One more word of advice, avoid the group of guys (& gals) who look like they have no job and camp out around Miller Park all day everyday trying to get autographs and cheap tickets without giving a second thought about personal hygiene. You'll know them when you see them. They have a bad reputation with lot attendants, ushers and players. If your trying to get an autograph, you don't want to be associated with them.

Remember that you need to get your car out of the park and reenter with a parking pass or face a long walk home.
