A washed up player that came to the Brewers at the tail end of his career (the Brewers were big on that in the mid-late 90's) got mad at me for asking for Marquis Grissom's autograph 'too close to gametime'.

I think he was just upset because he was sitting right there doing nothing and I wasn't interested in having him sign my ball in the least.

about kangaroo court, someone should get on elmer dessens for driving a base model kia.

Hahahaha... I was wondering if anyone was going to say something about that.

Does anyone else remember Edgar "kiki" Diaz? He used to drive a 2 door hatchback to the park. Like a late 80's ford escort or something.

Wanted to remind everyone (anyone?) about Rollie Fingers tonight at the Green Bay Bullfrogs game at Joannes Stadium in GB. Signing from 5:15 until 6:45 I believe.

Was at the Fielder and Hardy Signing. Lots of people as expected. I got a 8x10 autographed by Prince, way too many people to go back to get J.J. Prince personalized my photo and it looked like everybody elses as well when I was in there. For me that wasn't that big a deal because I don't plan on selling it anyway. I felt kind of sorry for JJ, because when he and Prince where there at the same time people had to choose lines, and there were only a handful of people in his line. Does anybody know if JJ changes signatures for paid shows, because my friend got his autograph on a ball and it was very hard to read? All in all very happy with the results of tonight.

I just don't want it personalized.

Is there any reason why you don't like or want anything personalized? I have a few things that say, To Jason or best wishes. I think they are kinda lame because they aren't heart felt wishes or anything like that. I would rather them put HOF if they are a HOF player or something like that. Although, when they add stats more times than not you have to pay extra for them.

I went to the players lot yesterday before the game and got Hardy, Miller, Mench, Villanueva and Hart I saw JJ sign the sweet spot of the ball.

A couple of the players didn't even say anything when we asked for autographs and some of them walked around the lot so as not to talk to us. Gwynn Jr and Braun said they would autograph inside.

That does seem high. Although Prince was pretty high last year when he signed at Jeff's. I know when I asked Jeff's last year about JJ and Rickie signing he said it wasn't going to be anytime soon because they wanted too much money. When I saw the JJ signing was only for $25 , I was kind of surprised.

Yeah I mean I know Braun is going to be good and hes a big time rookie/prospect type. But $45 seems like a lot for him to ask per signature. I mean JJ and Billy were both $25. Well I might do it unless I can get to the players lot before a game sometime soon since I heard from many on here he sign all the time there for free.

I caught jj last year at the brewer fan fest. He was walking back after a radio deal. He did not sign on the sweet spot but his sig looked like this. Pretty cool way to sign it.

I don't know if Braun has signed at the players lot before but he and Gwynn Jr. drove together and said they would sign inside. I didn't want to wait in a mob of people for their autographs so I didn't go down to the dug and don't know if they actually did sign.

I got JJ's autograph and it looks just like the one on the card. I am gald too since I didn't have to the medical shool after the game and wait in a line to get him. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Braun is a CAA guy (as is Sheets and Hart). They are not going to sign cheap.
