Forum link redirecting to other sites

I'm not sure if this is a forum problem or a problem on my end. When I access forum.brewerfan.net it loads, but then redirects to several other URLs, eventually landing at google. I am able to access the site by stopping my browser immediately when a new URL appears to be loading. This happens for every forum link I click as well. FYI in case it is a forum issue.

This is being looked into. There are a couple of possible causes but there's nothing definite that we can put our fingers on.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

To give some background, Brewerfan is on two hosts. The main site is hosted by the same provider that's hosted it for years, while forum.brewerfan.net is on a new host. Getting the two hosts to play well together wasn't an easy task for those who were involved with it.

 

We think this issue is tied to something that's happening with the host of the main site.

 

Please post here if you're seeing redirects. That will help us know how to proceed.

To follow up: Yesterday, I was only experiencing the redirects when viewing from my phone. I tried from a computer and was able to load the pages without issues. Today, I have not experienced any redirects yet, and I am using my phone again. So far so good...

 

Same thing happened to me on Sunday. I tried to use my phone to follow a link to a private message and was led to something with 'raunchy girlfriend' in the title before I closed the browser in moderate horror. I then switched to a desktop computer and the link connected me to the PM as expected.

 

So count me among those hoping this is resolved. Yikes.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
