Brewers Playoff "Flags"

I don't know if it is the just the down time in baseball news or the fact that I want to complain about something this morning, but there is something that really irritates me about the Brewers playoff "flags." I'm talking about the fake flags that hang above Friday's which call out 1982 AL Champions, 2008 Wild Card and 2011 NL Central Division Champions. While they aren't offensive to the eyes or anything like that, I guess I am old fashioned and would much rather see actual flags flying than some generic fake flag designed to make it look like it is blowing in the wind.

Ok sorry rant over.

So they could hang completely limp and no one would actually know what they signified? I've been to enough games to know there isn't a whole lot of wind within the stadium at any given time.

One problem is there really wouldn't be any good place at Miller Park to put them. With all the extra seating and stuff that's been added in the outfield, there isn't really much open space there. They'd probably have to be way up on top of the roof, and then with the roof closed you couldn't actually see them, unless they made it so the flags folded in under the roof or something.

I guess I think the current pennant flags are fine, even if they're "fake". I do wish they'd get rid of the severely tired looking '82 "pennant" up over left field.

Lack of wind was my first thought as well.

Another option would be to do the vertical-hanging banners up high somewhere like basketball teams do (up the the proverbial "rafters")
