Michael Finley: He's rich

I had no idea Michael Finley signed this type of deal. According to this, he makes the 7th most in the NBA (19th among all athletes) - including salary and endorsements.

He's good, though I'm baised obviously. I loved him on the NBA games, I was unstoppable with the Mavs.

edit. I know he doesn't play for them anymore, I haven't played an NBA game since 2002 or so.

Actually, I think there was some rule that was changed a couple years ago, where a team could cut a player and avoid the luxury tax (?) but still had to pay the player in full...and then that player was a free agent and could sign for whatever he wanted ON TOP of what he was getting from the team that just cut him. I didn't read the linked article, maybe that explains it, but I know Finley makes what the Mavericks owed him and what the Spurs signed him for.
