box seats

Dogger192003
My wife bought me infield box seats for a game in September. I go to a fair number of games but have never had an interest in box seats. I was just wondering what the deal is with them since it is blocked off from regular traffic during games. I see there is a waitstaff there as well. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

What section are you going to be in? Field Box? Club Box? TR Box? Loge Box?

I love Miller Park, you can find good tickets on every level. Going by your post I'm guessing your in the Club Level Box seats. This is my favorite section. The sections are only 7 rows deep and the seats are the widest and most comfortable (padded) in the stadium. There is wait service, but only in the infield (sections 320-340). The selection is ok (more food available on the concourse) and the service is average (sometimes below average, rarely above average). The concourse area is nice. There is a lounge area with a bar and Tv's behind the seating bowl. The food offered on the club level is also very nice. There is a gourmet desert station behind section 324 that offers cakes (7 layer carrot cake....mmmmm), cookies, brownies ect... For $36 this is the best ticket in the house for my money. It's somewhat upscale, but you still know your at a baseball game.

I'd prefer the 4th row behind home plate, like we had for the Indians

Section 118 row 2 - I've sat there six times this year. Amazing! I took someone from work and he couldn't believe it. He still carries the ticket in his wallet as a reminder.

Miller Park is really great. The whole park is nice, but there are certain spots - on every level - where I just love to sit. One place I've never sat is at Fridays (outside) for an entire game. I sat there once for an inning or two before they told us they needed the table. I sit there before the game every homestand, but never for a game.
