BP at miller park best place to stand in the outfield is?

zachlaka

I know this is kind of late and I hope this the right place for it. I am going to the game tomorrow alone since my friend can't get off of work. I plan to hopefully leave Madison early to get some autographs at the players lot then catch BP and the game.

What is a good place to stand to try and catch a ball at BP. My ticket is in the RF bleachers section 201 row 1.

I would like to get one ball so I can get it autographed by JJ hardy at the medical signing after the game and give it to my cousin for her birthday coming up.

I do have a glove and I will be bringing it of course.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

TIA ~Zach

Brewer BP ends about the time they open the doors, but you get about an hour of visitors bp. 201 is a good section for balls. My son got a ball in 201 last Friday night from one of the marlins. He also had a ball hit right at him that he couldn't handle in the same area that night.

Usually after BP, but shortly before the game starts a few Brewers come out and sign down the right field line. Jenks and Prince came out on Thursday together and signed for about 5 minutes. Capuano always signs (provided he's not pitching that day).

Also, if you plan to go to the players lot for autos, remember that it's a day game tomorrow, so get there by 9am. Most of the coachs will be there earlier than that. JJ WILL sign in the lot (certain players don't), so if you've got a ball already that might be an option for you.

Have fun!

Thanks for the quick reply 20Fry.

I don't care to much who hits the ball my cousin won't need to know a Cub player hit it http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Since you said the Brewers are usually done by the time gates open. Do the balls they hit into the seats stay in the seats or are they picked up by MP staff.

Will be inside first thing walking around RF bleachers. I hope a few balls get hit up around 201-202 since I haven't played baseball in like 10 years and I wasn't that great then at catching. lol

I plan to get JJ after the game with Prince at the signing they are having at the medical building.

I think for this game you would be better off in left field. The Cubs big three power hitters are all right handed. There would probably be a few balls laying around in right field after the Brewers but you would have to beat everyone over there. If you do go to right field I would go up top towards 201 for sure though.
