I don't know why it takes the Brewers so long to post information. Brewers.com says the info will be up in early January for player times and prices. Its now the 25th and nothing yet. Twinsfest has had their info up a week and a half ago. Ugggghhhhhhhhhh
I agree. I want to go but would like to know who the "Premier" players are first. If they put down every player worth getting as a Premier then it doesn't make sense for me to go in my opinion.

Only a few short days ago at the BBWAA dinner Braun said,

"I’ve chosen to view every challenge I’ve ever faced as an opportunity and this will be no different. I’ve always believed that a person’s character is revealed through the way they deal with those moments of adversity."

What does this have to do with appearing at the event?

According to Attanasio's statement

"In working through the logistics of this weekend's Brewers On Deck event in Milwaukee with Ryan Braun -- and knowing how much he enjoys interacting candidly with Brewers fans -- we came to the conclusion that this is too sensitive of a time in the confidential process for him to attend this year," Attanasio said.

Being too sensitive seems to be an adversity.

I am not surprised in the least bit that Ryan Braun cancelled. To be perfectly honest, I was shocked that he was even announced as attending in the first place. If he cancels for Brewers On Deck, a relative "soft toss" in terms of fan interaction and pressure, I wonder how he will handle road games this year in Philadelphia, St. Louis, etc. Yikes.

On a related note, can the Brewers update this information already? I saw in Sunday's paper that Alex Gonzalez would be attending, yet his name is not included on the website under the list of attending players. In addition, Aoki will be introduced at his press conference there, yet he is not listed as attending either. Is he going to do it via video teleconference? Or is he going to attend and run away into the back rooms once the cameras are turned off and the press conference is over?

Any word on K-Rod attending? I see his name is not on the list, but that means nothing at this point. I would love it if he was there, so much so that I would even wear his game issued Bierbrauers jersey to celebrate the moment.

C'mon Brewers, get on top of this situation!

Mark A isn't saying that Braun is being too sensitive. He is saying that Braun wouldn't be able to interact with fans the way he usually does because of appeal/suspension. Braun cannot talk about anything that is happening.

I did not hear of Gonzalez coming. That would be nice. It looks like most of the foreign players are not attending which I am led to believe its because its more of a hassle. I haven't traveled out of the country in 20 plus years, so I don't know how easy/hard it is. De la Cruz has been one autograph that I would like to get, but he hasn't been very fan friendly. I'm guessing its a language barrier.

In regards to Braun not showing, I firmly believe he is not skirting the issue. Its just a hard issue to deal with since the outcome is not determined. I truly believe that id a guilty verdict did come down before Sunday that he would have been there to start his "return to prominence" PR campaign. In the end I feel confident in saying that Braun will own this one way or another and he will be very fan friendly, which is hard for a guy who is already so generous to the fans. just my 2 cents

jsonline has the autograph schedule up. I didn't see it yet on the Brewers website. The only Premier players are Yount, Fingers, and Greinke. Ramirez, Hart, Weeks, Yovanni, Uecker are all $25, but not part of the lottery.

Lottery should be interesting. With only three guys it makes for a lot of entries, but in my opinion better than the alternative of everyone listed above being in the lottery.

whose line do you think is gonna be more crazy? uecker and attanasio or ramirez? i wanna hit the rummage sale and get ramirez, but i don't think there's any way i can do both...but we'll try, i guess.
I would think Ramirez's line will be pretty crazy considering he starts signing before anyone else does. Crossing my fingers for Yount and Yovanni. Got Yount two years ago when it wasn't a lottery, but have a full size helmet that I am looking to get signed this year.

I see now on the Brewers website it still lists Yount, Fingers, and Greinke as the Premier autos. However, below the schedule it says all names in BOLD will be part of the lottery system and in the schedule Uecker is bold. Wonder if that is just an error or if they are adding him to the lottery system?

I'd doubt Uecker is part of the lottery. I'm not sure where you were looking Barrelman, but in the following link, it looks like they made a similar mistake by putting Gallardo's name in italics to indicate that he's part of the lottery. Given that neither Uecker nor Gallardo are listed in the separate list of premier players, I'm guessing each of these is simply a mistake.
