Krod accepts, how does this affect any other Free Agent signings?


Now, could Mark A. stand to lose $5-$10m next year to take one more big shot? We don't really know. But I'd be fine with going this route and then making significant budget cuts in 2013.

This is the kind of thing that always perplexes me. I'm willing to admit that maybe its way over my head. How much has the value of the Milwaukee Brewers gone up since Mark A & crew bought the team? $50 million? $100 million? $150 million? Mark A is not losing money!

 

Sorry, I should have been more clear....I was talking about the yearly operating profit for the ballclub in 2012. You're correct that the value of the team has skyrocketed and that Mark A. is not "losing money" in any sense.
