there isn't two games if you lose your first one. You worry about game 7 when you're playing game 7
We've hashed this out a few times. Either way you have to win two games. It shouldn't matter in this case.

Please get up JHJ. We need you here.

Why do players continue to insist on the stupid headfirst slide into first base??

Can't we just give some presentation to every team that it's NOT faster?

it's not faster, but on a throw off the bag it is a good play to avoid the tag. much smarter to do it feet first....not that anyone ever does.

and why the hell save your best pitcher for a game 7? Don't you have to get to a game 7 first?
Either way they have to win two games, so it shouldn't matter. They were definitely better off letting Gallardo get his regular rest. However, I wish they would have gone with a Narv/Bullpen start tonight. Oh well.

No, you give yourself the best possible odds to win 2 games. It makes no difference whether you lose game 6 or 7. Somehow getting to game 7 only to face the similar dilemma isn't better.

Man I hope Hairston isn't hurt. Of course if he is it sets the stage for a 3 HR game for Green McGehee.
Fixed.

I seriously hope McGehee doesn't trot out of the dugout for the second inning. I know this can't be an easy time for Green to make his debut, but the kid can hit and he can field, two things McGehee can't do.

I feel really bad for Marcum. He's had an awful postseason and he's going to have to live with that cloud over his head from now on. It's going to be hard for him to recover from this.

I would roll around in all my money and remember that I am a professional ballplayer. I would be over it by about Tuesday.

Well if he was A-Rod then probably yes. But not all players are like that.
