pretendastronaut will add his customary stellar graphics Sunday afternoon, but there's no reason why we can't start commenting in the morning.

Dear Brewers:

You know what's within your reach. You can take another step today. I've been grateful for the bonus baseball you've earned this year, but without wanting to sound overly greedy, let's not let the season end just yet.

Have fun, and good luck.

Love you,

hawing

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Lets go Brewers. We can't have you being the only team to lose to St Louis today. Bring back those Angry Birds.

I don't want to see Marco Estrada or Kameron Loe in this game unless the Brewers are up by six runs or more. If they fall behind early, it needs to be Hawkins/Saito/KROD as the ones coming in to keep the deficit from getting any larger, not Estrada coming in to increase their lead.

And along those lines, it would be wonderful to actually see 2 relief pitchers warming up at one time (!). That way if one relief pitcher doesn't "have it" we're not stuck with him for several batters until the next guy gets warmed up. There have been very few times this season or postseason where Roenicke has had 2 guys warming up at once.

I think if Marcum falters much at all it'll be Narveson brought in to pitch 2-3 innings to get to the Hawkins-Saito-KRod-Axford 6-7-8-9

I am so excited for this game! After Friday's showing, a bit nervous that that team will rear its' ugly head again, but all along, I've had a feeling that this series may go 7. Tomorrow, I will more than likely be a nervous wreck, but tonight, I'm all good.

you'll find more in common with us than you do the homers at Cards Talk. there are some real baseball guys there. guys who actually watch the game and know something about it. we're reading you. you might as well read us.

that being said, most of us still want to beat your brains in. the right to paint a flag on our outfield wall depends on it.
