I have pointed this out a million times and I will do it again today. There is NO evidence that a starting pitcher who performs well for the first 5-6 innings do better than expected going forward. It's not true. They don't. It's a complete myth.
I agree with the facts. It's great that Wolf got through the 7th with 3 consecutive outs. It would be even better if the Brewers could turn this 2-run game into more of a certain win, so that it doesn't really matter what pitcher is put out there.

Give it up for Wolfey.
Where were the non believers.. I just saw a lot of arguments that it wasn't a logical move.. if Krod gives up 2 next inning it still bites them... but I applaud Wolf.. HUGE tonight when they needed it.. like I said earlier just need to guarantee a return trip to Miller.
