I know it was just strike 1, but that was a great pitch by Hawkins to start off Holliday. I totally thought that was going to be an easy one to hit out over the plate and it dipped just a bit at the end so that Holliday swung over it.

 

I think a lot of times we don't realize how much some subtle movement means. A pitch can look good to a hitter and when he swings, just a tiny bit of movement causes him to miss. That looked to be the case with Rickie's K in the 5th inning.
