yeah you may be right, i don't think he is handling the national exposure right at all and is now just being goofy for the sake of it. its lost in genuineness. i want the guy back who got the game winning hit and didn't know it was even the 9th.

This shark was jumped as soon as the iron was placed on the first t-shirt for the 'Fan Zone'.

Yup.

Jumped for me about June 15th.

Well it hasn't for a bunch of people. I believe Morgan has two of the top 5 selling t-shirts on the team. And the team is loose and having fun, which he is a big part of. Between the roof, the parking lots, the personalities, there is sure a lot of complaining around here. I shutter to think what it will be like if the team only wins 90 games next year.

Don't get me wrong, I like the guy. However, I'd rather see him on ESPN for delivering a 2 run single than hamming it up in an interview on the seventh line 'hack journalist show' on that network. Actually, I rarely watch ESPN by choice. That's another complaint thread of it's own....

I think people are starting to get tired of it because it is all over the place. It has nothing to do with "Tony Plush" himself. For example, if he had only been interviewed by FSN Wisconsin and maybe one or two oddball radio hosts, no biggie. But for some reason the media, who have paid next to NO attention to the Brewers this year or in the postseason, have latched onto the alter ego.

I loved it when Plush first came to Milwaukee, because I had always enjoyed him when he played in Pittsburgh and Washington. But he was able to fly under the radar there. The Brewer fan base embraced him and enjoyed his antics, and then suddenly the media discovered him and BOOM - he was all over the place. I'm sure he enjoys the attention but I wish the media would just back away a little. It's kind of like what happened with Lincecum and Wilson in San Fran - some of that weirdness has now become tiring as well.

However, I still love me some T Plush. I just wish he was still Milwaukee's little secret. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Everything in moderation. Problem is it got to be too much, and you could even tell Morgan was trying to play the role instead of being himself. "Gotta go" was genius when it was spur of the moment, not planned. When he said it after every interview the last 3 months, not funny anymore.

That's a massive overreaction to my statement. He asked a question and I answered it. I don't like Morgan's antics. Big deal.

Never a fan of anything Morgan other than his play on the field.

He is a part of it but this team always had fun when it was winning. I tolerate his antics but he gets old really quick. He is a clown. Some people like clowns, I don't.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.
