Randy Wolf

Wolf does not garner nearly the buzz of the Brewers' top three starters, but he led the team in innings this season. He also has postseason seasoning -- two starts for the Dodgers in 2009.

Joe Saunders

Saunders suffered a bruised left hand when he was jammed with a batting-practice pitch prior to the season finale. The left-hander faced the Brewers on July 20 at Chase Field and did not get a decision after allowing two runs over seven innings.

Is tonight the night we see the likes of Gomez and Casey? If not tonight, probably not at all this series...

I don't feel good about this one and really hope our bats break out in a big way

Yes and no, it appears. This is also the first start for Wolfotarras since Randy first publicly used the term at last Thursday's rally.

Dear Brewers:

Just because you have multiple chances to win this series doesn't mean you have to utilize all of them. 1-0 for Wednesday. Have fun, and good luck.

Best wishes,

hawing

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I'm already nervous. I can't imagine how much worse I'd be for Game 5. Saunders is not good. Worst strikeout rate of any qualified starter in the NL. Braun should crush him.

I suppose it's too greedy to ask for a blowout game for the sake of my mental well-being.

Alright, Wolfotarras. Hopefully the bromance brings home the victory tonight. If I had to choose between Hairston in CF with McGehee at 3B and Gomez in CF with Hairston at 3B I'd choose tonight's lineup, and it isn't even close.

Get on the board early and do not let up. End this tonight.

Hey folks...last minute changes today...woke up and decided to come to the game. Thank you stubhub & southwest airlines (not to mention a very understanding Mrs. SoCal). Have fun in the chat room! Go Brewers!!!

I've also swapped out of the Yount jersey into the T Plush jersey. I had the Yount on in SF and we lost, so I'm trying out the T Plush. Hope it works!

Enjoy the game...and hopefully a great postgame celebration!!!

I do not have a good feeling about Wolf tonight. I think he gives up 4 or 5 runs. Fortunately, I have a very good feeling about the Brewers against Saunders. I think the bats come through and win a slugfest. let's do it.

I just don't see us scoring a bunch of runs today. The lineup looks weak against a lefty. Gomez - I expect he'll take 1-2 ABs to settle down like Nyjer Morgan. I think Wolf has a halfway decent chance of doing well, 6-7 innings and 1-2 runs, if he's got it today.

I'm not too nervous, just because we have 2 chances to win 1 game, but it sure would be nice to win and have Yo ready to go against the #2 of the Phillies/Cards to start the NLCS.

Braun seems to like Saunders. Can he go deep again against him tonight?

Morgan has done next to nothing in the playoffs thus far; I think Gomez will be fine.

I am trying to convince myself that I am confident but I just can't do it after last nights debacle. If Wolf can go 6 with 4 or less runs I am guessing we win; just please don't fall behind by a couple runs early again

lol:
