Division Series - Dates, Times, Locations

Bombers

MLB is starting to post the times for the games. Already posted the AL times for Friday's games. Obviously we are all interested on when the Brewers will play on Sat and Sun. I have a feeling they may wait until they know every matchup before announcing the times of the games. Here is the link ...

the wife and I are already contemplating a friendly wager with students and staff down here. Should be fun. Any good ideas?

If the D'Backs win, everyone who makes the wager gets an A. If they lose, everyone who makes the wager gets an F.

You have to think we're not going to get the 11 AM game on Saturday since that would be 9 AM in Phoenix.

That probably doesn't rank high in priorities. The Brewers will probably play at 11AM because they wouldn't put ratings draws Yankees, Phillies, or Red Sox at that time - process of elimination.

I think the Brewers have a better chance of playing at 9 then at 11. It would suck for wisconsin sports fans as the Badgers would be on ... but it will probably make sense.

11 - Rays at Texas.

2:30ish- Cards at Phillies

5:30ish - Tigers at Yankees

8:30ish - DBacks at Brewers

That finish in the AL was EPIC ... Seriously. If you are a Rays fan, that's about as good as it gets. To watch the Red Sox going from 1 strike away from a win to losing by a double, double, single. Then not even 5 minutes later have Longoria walk it off with 2 outs in the bottom of the 12th ... to send you to the playoffs as the Wild Card winner ... craziness ... Is it October yet?!?! ... can't wait .... go Crew!

Not to mention the set-up of being down 7-0 in the 8th and then having, of all people, Dan Johnson to tie it with a 2-out HR in the 9th. Absolutely crazy.

It was mentioned somewhere that TBS would try not to schedule the Brewers against the Badger game....

Edit: Just remembered - Bob Wolfley had a blog earlier today with that sentiment.

Didn't BA pretty much say that the Brewers were going to have the early game? Not that he has the final say or anything, but I would think he might have some inside info.

Yes, he did mention that during the game.

Philly has to play at night, they have football games in the daytime both days next door. BA did leak early start times for the Crew. Makes sense.
Looks like there'll be some kind of conflict for Sunday - either with people leaving the Eagles game and getting to the Philly game or having the Brewer game conflict with the Packer game.....

TBS has the Saturday games in CT as 11, 230, 6, and 930 and Sunday games as 5 and 830. So we'll see if those times stick. I doubt a game will be played at 930. Sunday game times seem right. Phillies play at 6 ET and Brewers at 830 CT. That would make sense.
