Playoff Tickets - Obstructed View

llange1852

Hey.....just bought my tickets for Game One. Didn't realize until after I bought them that they are obstructed view. Section 410, Row 8, seats 1-4. From looking online I can't see any obstruction. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas?

Thanks!

Go Brewers!!

Yes, you have a big problem. You will not be able to see the game. I will generously take those off your hands for what you paid for them. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

That's first row of terrace reserve, I believe, and on the aisle. The obstruction is most likely the higher railing at the end of the aisle.

How can you buy seats to a game that still might happen on the road? Do you just lose your money if Game 1 is in Philadelphia or Arizona?
My guess is that he bought a ticket for the first game in Milwaukee, whether that be on Saturday or on Tuesday (that's how the tickets are printed).

With the name Laurie, I'd assume that he's a she. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Thanks for all your responses.....yes SHE bought the tickets for the first playoff game to be held in Milw. Be it Saturday or Tuesday. I did get a response from the Brewer ticket office that it is due to the railing but not much of an issue!

Go Crew!!

Good find, 20fry. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I checked out Laurie's seats tonight, but I didn't have a camera with me.

Laurie, Section 410 is directly above the vomitorium. The railing directly in front of you won't be an issue. The obstruction is the stairway railing. You'll be fine.

I've marked up 20fry's picture. The arrow points to your seats; the oval encircles the obstruction.

At 5'3", I find that I need to be in at least the third row beyond a railing to have it not interfere with my view. However, it's not a serious blockage.

I like the way 1992casey's phrasing suggests that the terrace level has only one "vomitorium."

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I'm getting worried by this vomitorium talk, due to pricing it is looking like we will choose to relegate ourselves to terrace level rather than our usual choice of club level. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Haha, yeah. Pretty much every section of the terrace could fit that description. Except the family section of course.

I got two in the same section for game 5, so I'm going to be checking out 424 row 8, seats 1 & 2 on Sunday. I have to decide whether to sell those or two in row 8 above 3rd base.

I was assuming my obstruction was just going to be railings, but if row 10 is still obstructed maybe there is something more up there?

If nobody posts anything, I'll let you know what I find.

Row 8, I believe, is the first (or second?) row of the Terrace Reserved

in that section. Then you have seats 1&2 which are right next to the

high railings at the base of the stairwell. You don't see that in the

picture posted, as that is from the middle of a row, looking down into

the Terrace Box.

You can see the railings on the bottom right of this picture, which looks to be about row 20 from section 420, I believe.
