I didn't see Lucroy's AB, but keep in mind that with 2 strikes, he needs to swing at anything that looks like it's going to be close.

It almost bounced before he hit it.

no clue how he hit the ball in the air. That should have been a weak ground out

That Lucroy pitch reminds me of an important gameday point. I am pretty sure gameday shows you where the pitch is when it crosses the front of the plate. This is the official definition of a strike, however, in practice it is really where it crosses the batter and that is how it is called. Therefore low pitches always look on the border on gameday but end up lower to the batter, and high pitches may come down to the zone at the batter but look high on gameday.
