tomorrow is the biggest day of my life

adamb100

I think I was anti-nervous. I do remember being rather satisfied that the boredom of high school would be ending and I'd be sent off the the wonderous plaza of beautiful smart women that wanted to drink and be merry.

Enjoy -- and identify those people you may want to know in 5 years, because you may not get the chance to really see them again.

You'll need to make more of an effort to keep a large circle of friends -- time tends to shrink those slowly.

Nobody believes in high school that they'll never see certain people again. They've been there every day, possibly since you were six. However, there are a LOT of people I was friends or casual acquaintances with in high school who I have not seen once since graduation - and this is in Eau Claire, not Milwaukee where it's easy to disappear.

Amuse yourself by trying to count the graduation speakers' cliches. Like "This is not an ending, but really a beginning."

I graduated Madison Memorial last year, and with one of our speakers, you could've sworn he spent the night before copying a book of clichees into his speech. Awful.

Good luck graduating.

Yeah so tomorrow I graduate High School and move into another chapter of my life. I'm pretty exciting but also nervous.

Graduating High School is the most overrated accomplishment in the history of the world.

Thanks to an education system in our country that looks to "pass" on their problems all a high school degree means is that you are able to read. (And I have seen many graduate in which that was debatable)

You also haven't learned a single skill that will provide you with quality employment.

Congrats on your graduation - because if you didn't make it that far, you wouldn't make it anywhere. But I hope you have about 10,000 things to be more proud of before it is all said and done.

I'm happy for you graduating H.S. One day however, you'll be sitting in front of a computer and see some kid make the same statement you did and you will realize that almost 20 years have gone by. Hopefully for you, it will be a great feeling with nice memories and you will have a beautiful family.

I hope you have a wonderful life ahead of you.

Well graduation was fun. It was so hot in the gym though. The superintendent made a speech for about a 1/2 hour that made everyone snooze. It's a shame that I wont see anyone in my class for years possibly forever. But hey I got my diploma so what does it matter. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
