You didn't have to say "come on people", you should have said "come on Patrick" since apparently it's just me that's being insensitive and politically incorrect.

You did call it an act. Whether you meant to or not, that reveals more about your lack of tolerance than anything else you choose to write. And intolerance doesn't have anything to do with being old school. It's just judgmental.

Is it possible to like Greinke, have sympathy for everything is has gone through and currently deals with, yet also be disappointed that he didn't show up for the rally? That is where I am at.

I know we're all talking about OTC medication, but I still have bad memories of spending all that money for prescription Celebrex which caused nothing but heartache. Aspirin isn't perfect, but if you already bought a big bottle at the dollar store or even CVS, you might as well use it up if it's gotten you this far. You can always switch to ibuprofen when you're done.

Apparently it is possible. Because that's exactly where I'm at too.

I guess I don't understand why people are getting on Greinke's case about this kind of stuff. It's not like we didn't know it coming in, that he had issues, and that these weren't things that would just ' go away' because we were winning. Is Greinke's quirkiness, or lack of enthusiasm, or what it seems to me is, inferred anti-socialism interfering or retracting from people's enjoyment of the Brewers' accomplishments?

The dude has a mental health condition that he's been dealing with for a long time. Until/unless any of us really understand what it's like to cope with what he's going through, I find it disappointing that people are disappointed in his behavior.

I lost a construction job because I suffered (and still do) from occasional terrible migraines, and in a man's world, any illnesses, maladies, or diseases that don't manifest with spurts of blood, bones sticking out, or torn ligaments are still viewed as things that you can tell a man to 'get over it'.

Sad.

Get over it. These guys are not your best buds. You don't have a relationship with them. You like the brand, Milwaukee Brewers, and you may have favorite players that were or are part of that brand. But if you like the Brewers cheer for the performance on the field, don't expect anything from the players beyond that, appreciate they are trying to win games for the team you love, and respect they may have other issues and dilemmas in their lives. Just like anybody else. Including you.
