Regarding K-Rod... "How do you make this go away?" Well, you stop trying to make this into a big deal - which it is not. Thanks media. I understand the SSP guys need to come up with new things to talk about everyday but this whole thing has been blown up into something it isn't. Yes, K-Rod would prefer to be closing, but he isn't and he's just going to have to deal with it. The end.

Its nice to hear from DM, but he can't say anything controversial, or open up any doors or say anything bad about anyone on the roster. I wish they would ask him questions that pertain to his duties as GM (roster construction, picking a manager, relationship with the manager, etc) instead of softballing him with "Hey Doug, tell us what Casey McGehee does well this season since you won't say anything bad about him."

 

He managed to say that Yuni isn't bad defensively. And That.
