best sports game i've ever played, the graphics are so lifelike.

I just got it last week. The game play isn't as good as MVP (by a long shot) but I enjoy it so far. I particularly like the new "road to the show" feature.

 

Although I ran into a weird glitch... I was playing a game in my fantasy draft franchise. I went to warm up a pitcher in the bullpen, but now it won't let me leave the screen. It says, "You must replace Michael Wuertz." Thing is, Wuertz is pitching against me at the moment. I've been stuck at this screen for a while and will probably have to reset it and lose a couple games.

That glitch happened to me once and I was playing PS2, so apparently the glitch carries over to next gen, lol.

i got it the day it came out and like it. Its a much better alternative to 2k7. The graphics are ps2 like. I have yet to see such a glich but i have only played it about 10 times. The gameplay may not be as good the mvp, but the game is very fun still. its not the homer happy like 2k7 either.

 

I am disappointed that the brewers are not rated as highly as they are for the ps2 version though.

I too have the game for the PS2, and I noticed a couple of glitches.

 

The first glitch is that I had a pitcher get injured while batting. It states I must replace him, but when I try I get a message stating I can't make a defensive replacement while batting.

 

In general, I have found their "in game goals" to be glitchy. I don't know how many times I have been asked to "induce a ground ball", the hitter grounds into a 6-4-3 and I am told my goal failed.

 

In general, I enjoy the game. I enjoy the "Road to the Show" much more so than the classic version of having a career. It's definitely a game and not a sim, but I like it.
