Yuni B has success hitting in the 8th spot yesterday; God forbid Roenicke should leave him in that spot. Instead that's a justification for moving him up into the spot in the batting order where he's killed the team. Lucroy should be hitting 6th, or even Gallardo. Instead Roenicke asks Gallardo to bunt in situations where it doesn't allow you to set up scoring a run with an out.

 

Man, the Cards just bring the worst out of this team w/ the bases loaded and in implied run situations. I'd love to see those splits against the Cards. It would be brutal.

Yeah I think the 8th spot is best for Yuni. Some guys feel more pressure there to clear the pitcher. But Yuni doesn't change his approach no matter the situation so I think he'd be fine there.
