It really is amazing how long of a leash Yuni has. Today seems like a perfect day to get Counsell in at SS and Green in at 3B. I would bet if we had won atleast one of the first two that RR would have emptied the bench today. But since he really wants the W; he is keeping all the regulars out there.

I expect McGehee will get the starts tomorrow and Saturday as well. But Green had better get a start on Sunday. I don't think asking for one start a week is too much.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

It would be Saturday, if anything (vs. RHP Norris). Wandy Rodriguez pitches Sunday, and there's no way RR is running Green out there in his first start vs. a LHP.

Didn't look at the pitching matchups. Then I would guess that Green won't get a start until at least Monday.

Dear Brewers,

My hand is hovering over the Emergency Panic button. Please make me take it away. I would not like to be forced to press it.

Thanks

Wont this still be premature? The Cardinals will have to double sweep us to have a chance at the division..we still have a 8.5 game lead (still biggest divisional lead in MLB) with 25 games left. If the Cardinals don't double sweep us, their only chance to come back is if Grienke, Gallardo, and Marcum all completely fall apart or get injured. Meanwhile, the Cardinals starting rotation is not good. With that in mind, it seems extremely unlikely that they can string together enough wins, along with us going on a long skid, to win the division. I think we should be more worried about how soon Rickie will be back for two reasons; 1) so he has enough time to get back to 'normal' before the playoffs start, and 2) so RR can start giving Hairston starts at SS (wishful thinking).
