Thursday, Sept. 1 Games: Brewers on WTMJ, Packers on WLWK-FM/WTMJ, Badgers on WOKY

The Brewers play at 3 PM; Green Bay and the Badgers also have home games at 7 PM. According to jsonline, the Brewer game will be on WTMJ, Green Bay will start off on 94.5 FM and once the Brewer game is over, Green Bay will come back to WTMJ and the Badger game be be on WOKY. Lets see there will be at least 35,000 at the Brewer game, 70000 at the Green Bay game and 75000 a the Badger game. That is a lot of people.

In that article, Wexler wonders why it matters to fans if games are moved to another station. I guess it doesn't if they are moving to stations that can be picked up outside of Milwaukee County. However, I live in Waukesha and in the past there were times that they bumped the Brewer's game to a weak AM station that I could not pick up. The stations they are using on Thursday are all "stronger signal" stations.

 

Also, I know that the time of the Brewer game on Thursday has been that way since early in the year, but I'm curious as to why they are starting at 3:10. I actually prefer it and wish they would start all weekday day games at that time. I work down town and this allows me to leave work before the game ends and avoid the Brewer traffic.
