It's not over yet, as the Cubs have given Axford some difficulty over his career, but you have to feel good about him surviving with any multi-run lead. Great job by K-Rod of preserving it by making hitters hit his pitches.

A 1.93 ERA with no losses is difficulty?

Shakiest appearance of the year by Hawkins. He had been a rock up until now. The Brewers can't lose a game where they relatively roughed up Dempster.
It really wasn't THAT bad. He gave up two solid hits (I agree that he shouldn't throw anything but breakers to Soriano), with two luckbox crap hits in between. I can't really blame him for an excuse me defensive chopper double and an infield hit. Unfortunately, he did give up the big double with the bases loaded on a terribly located pitch.

I wonder if RR even bothers to send a signal to Yuni on a hit and run, assuming he will be swinging no matter what...

Stupid Quade bringing in a lefty to pitch when Yo's spot came up in the 7th. End the conspiracy against Taylor Green!

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."
