You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Mr. Jungmann, you sound like you don't have much more than a ribeye between your ears.
Or maybe he was a little nervous and answering the same generic questions over again is probably tiresome.
Remember that interview Sheets did after he first got drafted? He turned out to be an alright pitcher.

I know that I am getting ahead of myself here but I really like the fact that the Phillies are going to have to make up a ton of games the rest of the season (in comparison to the Brewers)... They do not have another off day the rest of the season and that includes 2 doubleheaders (the Brewers have 3 off days)... That has to be tough on a staff late in the year.

Good point. They also have to be careful since the Braves are red hot and remain only 6 games back. No throwing in AAA players for spot starts without potential consequences.

Interestingly, if the Braves were to eclipse the Phillies, the Brewers/Phillies would play in the NLDS.

20 of the Phillies final 33 games are on the road also, including their last 6 (final 3 at the Braves)... The Brewers could possibly catch them as well http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I agree, it is odd to see Byrd so shallow. The scouting report says to play the outfield deep against the Brewers. I am not sure why Quade isn't following it.
It's probably because he goes back on the baseball so well. Playing shallow only might have cost him once. He's making over the shoulder and fence catches. If not for Byrd's defense the Crew would have a couple more runs on the board. We'd kill for his level of defense in center from Hairston and Morgan.

While it is great to be in 1st place, I have actually lost some interest in the Brewers lately. They have a 10 game lead and they are still about 3 weeks away from clinching. October seems way too far away. It will be nice to play the Cardinals and Phillies to make things interesting again. Beating up on bad teams is starting to get a little old :-)
