Zack Greinke

12-4, 3.92

Greinke is 9-0 at Miller Park, but 3-4 with a 5.01 ERA in his first nine road starts this season. He's produced eight consecutive quality starts, regardless of venue, and the Brewers have won each of his last five outings.

Brad Lincoln

0-0, 5.40

The Pirates will move Lincoln out of the 'pen to start this game. He won't be able to go deep given his limited work lately, but Lincoln is an experienced starter. This will be Lincoln's second start for Pittsburgh this year.

This lineup sucks.

(Note: This is the new tradition and it cannot be messed with. Also, I will complain that Betancourt gets a place on the float as it rides down Wisconsin Avenue.)

Prince gets us the 2nd run.

I don't wanna come off like an ass but I don't think we need updates on everything that happens in the games. We're in the IGT because we're either watching or listening to it. Posting the results of every hit/run/SB/etc. just clogs the thread up.

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

The cool thing about the Brewers right now is that they seem to be just totally focused on themselves and what they can do. It's like they aren't even worried about the opponent, but not in a dismissive or arrogant sense. They're just trying to play the game the best they can play it, almost like a golfer who is just trying to beat the game instead of worrying about the other guys in his group. Even their celebrations are pretty much self-contained. They aren't showing anybody up. They're just happy for eachother. It's just really fun to watch.

Flipping between our game and Cards game on the Extra Innings Package. Their announcers almost sound defeated as they announce we crushed the Pirates in game 1. Then, they see us up 2-0 in the 1st inning and it's almost as if they are announcing a funeral.

I do have to say, they are giving us props though and not making excuses.

That's a play an every-day starter makes, but Wilson still recorded an out there. The Pirates needed a hit to get a runner at first, and a hit to get him home, so I wouldn't blame it solely on him. I'm not expecting much from a guy who doesn't get frequent starts.
