Reminiscent of Coco blowing it back in Texas in '07

First thing I thought of as well. While getting lit up by his old team hurts, he should have been out of the inning & he is a little rusty from the leg tightness so no reason to panic. Pretty ugly for the D & RR there at the end...this team is something special to pick them up with the comeback. Thank goodness for Izzy & an unreal poke off the shoelaces by Prince. After all those low run wins, nice to see them pick up the D & pitchers for once. I hope RR is a little sharper on the substitutions if/when we are in the postseason. My guess is he will be without any looming DHers to worry about, but I also have my doubts.

This is way too small a sample to say for sure, but if these Brewers can slay the FOX curse, they might be the best ever.

Now we can finally get some supper!

Go back and read this thread from start to finish, it's pretty funny how quickly people abandoned the Brewer's hopes of winning after they start losing by 1 run!
Not to pile on unduly, because the important thing is the win; but this is part of the reason why I edited the IGT title to specify the 9th inning 4-spot.

Wow, Brewers. Just wow.

I had to leave when it was 7-6. I honestly wasn't worried and just figured K-Rod and Axford would close it out. When I looked up the final score I just assumed the Brewers took an 11-6 lead in the 8th and then brought in Dillard or someone to give up a few garbage time runs. Crazy game and it is good entertainment reading the reactions in the IGT. Kudos to those that stuck with it until the end, you never know with this team.

Did the people who said the game was over stop watching?
I did, but I had extenuating circumstances. I told my mom I would be over to her house around 4 or 5. After the K-Rod HR (around 6) I decided I better get going. I turned off the TV, put a CD in the car, and drove to my Mom's. I got there around 7. She asked me how I liked the game. She was shocked by my answer. I didn't believe her when she said we had won. This has been a special year for the Brewers.

I was the opposite of some people in this thread. I turned it off when the Brewers were WINNING. My family is visiting, so we went out for a healthy dinner at The Varsity in Atlanta when we were up 7-1. As we waiting for our order, we lost the lead. Watched the play-by-play during the comeback/end of game on my dad's phone as we ate.

I did not stop watching, but I was pissed when they blew the 6 run lead. I know these things are bound to happen over a 162 game season, but that doesn't mean I won't be pissed when they do.

Having a 7 1/2 game division lead and blowing a 6 run lead is like getting socks for Christmas. I know I shouldn't be disappointed, but I am none the less.
