2011-08-18 Dodgers (Kershaw) at Brewers (Estrada) - [Brewers lose, 5-1]

I asked this in another thread but does anyone know what our success rate on squeeze plays is? Taking out the missed sign ones of course, that's not on the coach on those. I was under the impression that it's worked a fair amount, but maybe I just saw the ones that worked.

Not saying I agree with it, but Lopez is the only righty on the bench and he probably didn't want to use him in the 5th. Not sure if the Dodgers have a bunch of lefty's in the bullpen for later innings or not?
I don't have a problem with saving Lopez, but why not just use Yo there to try to a HR?

Maybe he realized how dumb it was to PH ZG and let K rod hit the other day and didnt want to put someone like Yo in a position to get hurt.

Not sure what the success rate is, but I'd probably include the missed signs...it's all part of executing a complicated play.

It's pretty easy to tell a pitcher to not be an idiot and try to leg out an infield hit.
