Aytumious, that's like saying a win by a quarterback who threw three picks in the first quarter is more impressive... it was his fault in the first place for giving up walks, just as it would be his fault for giving up a hit. With that logic Claudio Vargas should have won Cy Young.

But an interesting way of looking at it. I do still think a 3-hit CG is more impressive and dominant.

All I'm saying is that logically you would think it would be more difficult to actually finish with a no hitter under the conditions Jackson was in regardless if it was his fault.

It is quite impressive in a bizarro way. I wasn't making any statement about the dominance of his performance.
