Standing room only tickets

Some friends and I are thinking of going on Saturday. The game is practically sold out and we don't really care about or if we have seats. We're not really sure how many of us can go so we can't purchase tickets ahead of time. Would we be fine just getting standing room only tickets before the game or are there a limited number of those?

They do only sell a certain number, but I highly doubt they would sell out standing room tickets for anything but a playoff game.

I have gotten SRO tickets in STL before for a Brewers game and did so at game time. We ended up being able to find a table to sit at for a good portion of the game, and then worked our way down to the bleachers for the last couple of innings. Definitely is worth the try imho.

If you can't get enough SRO tickets that day, you can always buy extra tickets from the vultures scalpers. Get 8 SRO tickets and 2 seated tickets. All 10 of you can do the SRO.

They do limit SRO only seats, but I do not know if they have ever reached it since they decided how many. Pretty safe other than a playoff game.

There are almost always single-seat obstructed view seats available on the day of the game.

I always buy those instead of the standing room only when going with someone else even though it'll obviously split us up. Then if we can't find an area for both of us together in either of our ticketed sections, we'll stand. It's the same price, at least it was when I went, and what are they going to do, tell me I can't stand and watch if I have a ticketed seat?
