Can I change my username?

I post on different forums (football, basketball etc) and my name's the same on every one...except this one. I always sign into this with the name I have everywhere else and always have to remind myself it's different.

There a way I can change it?

You can't actually change your current username, but you can create a new profile and reapply for membership. Follow these steps to create a new profile:

1. Hit the navigation button that appears in the upper right-hand corner of most Yuku pages.
2. In the dashboard that appears, hit the "PROFILE" link in the "Create" box at the upper right.
3. Follow the prompts.

It's preferable to create a global username. That will avoid having ".brewersfandemonium" tacked onto your handle if you post on boards other than Brewerfan. (You'll see .brewersfandemonium handles all over the place on LambeauLeap.) To create a global username, carry out step one above from your profile page.

 

Because Yuku has millions of profiles, your preferred username might not be available globally. In that case, carry out step one above from any Brewerfan board page to create a local profile.

 

Note that the directions above apply to unconverted profiles only. Your current profile is unconverted; your new one would be converted.

 

After your new profile is set up, make sure you're logged into it and head over to our membership application page. Since you're already a member who's currently active, you won't need to impress us with a high quality message. Just tell us that you've been posting as RickieWeeks23 and you'd like to start posting under a new name.

 

At that point, one of our admins will set up your new profile for posting and move your current profile to read-only. You'll receive a PM notifying you when the change has been made. Your current profile would be good for posting in the meantime.
