But it was right fielder Mark Haddow who had the highlight of the game, and not just his run-scoring double that tied the game in the fourth frame. Haddow chased down a foul ball by Ben McMahan in the sixth inning on a 1-2 count, flipping head over heels over the padded railing and into the visitors’ bullpen. Haddow made a brilliant catch, and appeared to break the fence in the process, but was not hurt.

“That was amazing,” Walters said of the play. “He saved me a couple more pitches that let me go seven (innings). He just laid out, and I think he may have broken the fence. That was just a great catch.”
