I would guess they are waiting for the AFL to complete. Either way, there is no rush... Plenty of down time in the offseason, might as well spread it out.

Early January will be a better time, IMO. MLB news slows down then and most of our offseason roster moves will be done also.

 

Question to the mods: Did colbyjack and Mass Haas "backing off" certain roles effected the P50 at all? Maybe we should setup a user driven P50 debate if that would help. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

We have no timetable for the next Power 50. Neither Eric (battlekow) nor I have had the time for it to this point (obviously), and that will continue to be the case for the foreseeable future.

I was going to post roughly the same thing. I really enjoy reading other power 50's for a variety of perspectives (and writing styles). A reader driven P50 would help curb our jones until the official list comes out. How should we do it? Who will organize it once the lists have been submitted?

We used to do top 25 lists, I think Colby was involved but obviously doesn't have time for that anymore given his sweet PG gig.

The first year or two, I led a system where we did a daily poll and people chose from players available. For the last 6 or so years, Colby and others have led it with a system that gives points for peoples' rankings. That can be very interesting. I can't remember who led it following the Overbay trade, but I remember I received a PM asking me if I really meant to leave Zack Jackson off the list.

 

But I'm all for a user compiled Power 50...always nice to see.
