Seriously stop posting this Bear crud! I understand the superbowl 20 score because he's been posting the scores for a while now, but this is just junk. Reminds me of all my classmate I went to school with in the mid 80's that were bear fans because they were good at the time but look like idiots now because they didn't stick with their

home state team. Go Pack Go Brewers!

Please stop posting this Packer crud.

Random fun way to think about our current magic number. Our current winning percentage for the year gets us 17 more wins. With 6 games left against the cards, getting just an even split or better has to be about 2/3 proposition. In other words if we just keep going, the cards could win the rest of their non-Brewer games and still barely have a chance to even got us into a 1-game playoff.

I appreciate the enthusiasm and creativity with which so many have contributed to the magic number thread - almost as much as I appreciate that a "magic number thread" can legitimately exist on this site - but if we're going to allow "Packer crud," I think we have to allow "Bear crud" as well.

Unless...we want to keep this thread free of all "NFL crud." Personally, I could go for that because I'm not an NFL fan. But in my mind, the most important thing is celebrating the gradual reduction of the magic number in as many ways as necessary (within forum rules), so I'm more an advocate of live and let live.

Here's hoping we move off this one today:

Well there goes my cyber fantasy girl. It all seemed so right until now. We are about the same age. We started following the brewers the same year. I bet you even remember who sang "Fantasy Girl." Now all my dreams come tumbling down. If I wasn't happily married this would have been traumatic.

There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

It's not about the team, it's about the number. As a Packers fan I cringed posting a Bears number, but it was funnier to me because dude bolted the first chance he got. Plus, not a whole lot of people wear 19 these days. Shame on me for not going retro and posting Johnny Unitas.

I, though, claim the excuse of my dad's Navy career - I went Brewers for baseball, and the Bears and Bulls for basketball. In any case, Payton (running back) and Hester (return specialist) are arguably the best at their positions in the NFL's history.

No one cares, no more Chicago crap in this thread

If only I could figure out how to EASILY post pics.... it would be more "Packer crud." None other than former QB... Rich Campbell....

There should be a list of things at the top. If you go two to the left of the smilies there should be a square with what looks like a little picture inside, click on that and then click on add from URL and then a little box will pop up and then you just paste the URL in there.

Good grief. This is a thread about posting numbers not pledging your allegiance to a football team. Post whatever you want, as long as it's the right number.
