Possibility the Brewers are done making moves?

I just don't agree with this. I think you're really over valuing Jackson, who was clearly more meaningful to the Cards than he would have been to the Brewers

I agree it would be disappointing if Green goes to the Mets, but all indications have been that he probably won't be.
I never said Jackson would have filled a need on the Brewers - sorry if I implied that - the Cardinals had a need, and they filled it with a quality player.

Brewers have a need and they haven't filled it. That's my point - I guess when I look at things objectively I see the Cardinals improving a lot more than the Brewers did in the past week. I could really care less about who got better value for marginal players at this point.

I know some have pointed out the cards bullpen - but they are still working on Bell......... If they land a reliever in the next few hours I don't see how they aren't the favorites for the division.

Also, if it turns out Taylor Green was included as PTBNL - then I think Melvin did a lot worse all things considered.

Not if we make a deep playoff run...Green cannot hit lefties at all bro. One would think that a guy with an 82' Avatar would appreciate making the playoffs. Taylor Green is having a nice year in AAA. I doubt very much though he will be a good everyday 3rd basemen.

We have a major need at 3b right now........ that is the ONLY reason I'd be pissed if Green is included.

Having a 3b that can't hit lefties is better than having a 3b that can't hit lefties or righties and has legs made of solid concrete on D.

Actually he can. His current splits are .269/.376/.397 and given what there were to start the season he's been hammering lefties for the last 6-8 weeks.
