Let's quit dicking around and get CArroll and Furcal . Easier said than done but we now need to make a trade for 2 guys instead of 1. Teach em how to Dougie.

The answer to my little puzzle was Counsell. If he wasn't such a likeab;le guy i'd rip on him more than i do. Same with Casey.... why do the likeable players tend to struggle . Braun is not a likeable guy and he is amazing. Funny how that works.

Just go in house with Taylor Green.

While I am fully prepared to have tomatoes thrown at me (despite the fact that I am merely providing an option and not necessarily advocating for this), the Brewers have a trend of re-dating their old players. Since SF acquired Keppinger, Bill Hall might be cheaply available. He's out on rehab now, so SF will have to decide what to do with him soon.

I think Bill Hall makes a lot of sense. He can play anywhere. He can even pitch.

If you're not going to give Green a chance now, just trade the poor guy already. If he's good enough to compete for the starting 3B position next year, he's damn sure good enough to help us now when we really need him and have a chance to win the division for the first time in 29 years.

I echo the sentiments of both Carroll and Barmes. I can't imagine Carroll costing much considering the Dodgers situation, and he fills in nicely in Wilson's spot. Then Barmes is your new starter at SS. I said this in the Weeks topic, but now that Rickie's bat is out of the lineup, the defense becomes even more important, and with an already bad INF defense getting potentially worse (depending on internal replacement) these two deals could become absolutely necessary.

I think Gamel could come up and fill Weeks spot in the time being in this scenario.
